Nothing is more important to me than my faith in God, and photos like this make me want to praise Him. I am drawn to steeples, because they remind me of the One to whom we owe our lives. God has redeemed me; to Him be the glory!

This "little guy" was just hanging off my porch one day and I decided to grab my camera and get his picture. I was fascinated with how this spider wove his web and then "stitched" it together. God has made so many interesting creatures!

At first glance, this may be a boring shot, but I think it's kind of fun to look at because of all the color in it. I love to take photos with lots of color. It makes a picture come alive!

Here is one of my favorite photos of my ds. He had just been playing in the yard with his sisters and a water hose, and I asked him to stop a minute while I took this shot. You never know which picture will turn out to be one of the best.

Another Destin photo. I love how the sails on these boats look against the city skyline and water. This one always gives me a sense of peace when I look at it.

Sometimes changing perspective can yield very interesting photos. I was in the park one day and decided to look up. This is what I saw.

This is my dh. He works for the county sheriff's department. He is a correctional officer. Doesn't he look tough? He's my knight in shining armor!

A photo taken this summer at one of our church's softball games. I like to photograph still lifes that depict our everyday lives.

This one was taken in Destin, Florida. My daughter decided to take a little snack break while soaking up the sun. She looks so happy and content.

I finally found a few minutes to add some more photos. Hope you like these.

This one was taken during the Fall Festival in our city a few years ago. I noticed how the sign in front of the portable potties made such an incongruent picture. It looks like the hose from the hydrant (which has a faucet connected to it) is running directly into and/or out of the potties. I like to call this one "Potent Potable".
